The Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation (SSAC) SJ30-2 is a twin-engine light business jet intended to carry up to six passengers plus single pilot over ranges of 2,500 nautical miles (4,600 km) cruising at 0.78 Mach. SJ30's outstanding pressurized cabin permits sea level pressure conditions through 41,000-ft of altitude. The FAA awarded type certification on October 27, 2005, with the first aircraft entering service in February 2007. This light business jet is certified for single pilot operation. The SJ30 business jet family also includes the SJ30i and the SJ30x jets introduced in 2015 and 2017 respectively.

The SSAC SJ30-2 is powered by two fuel efficient Williams International FJ44-2A engines producing 2,300 pounds of thrust at takeoff and featuring wide sweep fan technology. The spacious cabin includes a side-facing lavatory which transforms into belted seat allowing seating for seven passengers including the pilot. The SJ30-2 jet is equipped with Honeywell's Epic Control Display System (CDS) avionics which facilitates single pilot operations.

The SJ30i offers the same great performance as the SJ30-2 but adding an all-new SyberVision avionics suite by Honeywell. SyberVision features four 12-inch liquid crystal displays and includes as standard features the SmartView synthetic vision system (SVS), INAVTM moving map display system, electronics charts/maps, TCAS II, TAWS Level A, synoptic displays, dual flight management systems (FMS) with dual WAAS GPS/LPV, graphical flight planning, onboard weather radar, full EICAS, aircraft system controls incorporated into the MFD, electronic checklists, envelope protection, DME, ADS-B Out, and 0.3 nm RNP as well as support for FANS-1A, SmartLanding, SmartTaxi, SmartRunway, TOLD, emergency descent mode, and RVSM operations. The SJ30i business jet also includes an all-new interior designed by Jason Castriota, featuring a belted forward-facing lavatory seat and other design elements that will give the cabin a fresh and inviting new look and feel. The first SJ30i is expected to be delivered in late 2015.

The SJ30x business jet features all of the advantages of the SJ30i, but also adds the more powerful FJ44-3AP-25 engines that include dual FADECS controls. The SJ30x is expected to offer more range, quicker time to climbs, higher cruise speed at altitude, better hot and high performance, increased payload, single point pressure refueling, and the elimination of the need for PRIST. The first SJ30x business jet is slated for delivery in 2017.
